Volleyball Recap: Freedom Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Freedom Christian Academy was the 3-1 winner over Hoke County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bucks on Tuesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 12-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Hoke County was led to victory by Ethan Ball and Pedro Ramos-Alejandro. Ball had six aces and five kills, while Ramos-Alejandro had ten digs. That's the most digs Ramos-Alejandro has posted since back in March.

Freedom Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hoke County, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Hoke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wayne School of Engineering on the 16th. Hopefully Freedom Christian Academy payed attention to the Bucks' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bucks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
