Basketball Game Preview: Burlington City Blue Devils vs. STEMCivics

The Burlington City Blue Devils will face off against STEMCivics at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully STEMCivics likes a good challenge.

While Burlington City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Camden Academy Charter with a sharp 74-50 win on Saturday. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask STEMCivics). They snuck past Whippany Park with a 68-62 victory on Saturday.

Burlington City's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for STEMCivics, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Burlington City against STEMCivics in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the team secured a 69-34 win. Does Burlington City have another victory up their sleeve, or will STEMCivics turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
