Softball Recap: Taft Raiders vs. Hutto Hippos

Taft extended their postseason success on Saturday against Hutto. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hippos a 4-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Alyssa Rangel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 19 over seven innings pitched. Those 19 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
