Softball Preview: North White Vikings vs. Twin Lakes Indians
The North White Vikings will face off against the Twin Lakes Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Twin Lakes took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on North White, who comes in off a win.
While Vikings fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. Everything went their way against Delphi Community on Monday as they made off with a 14-4 victory.
Kaylyn Applegate made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Applegate was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
