Lee's Summit West's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Deer Creek, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Coming up, Lee's Summit West will take on Olathe East at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Deer Creek, they will challenge Saint Thomas Aquinas at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
