Basketball Recap: William Monroe Takes a Loss

William Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 42-34 to the Rockbridge County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-23 back in January.

William Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Rockbridge County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

William Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockbridge County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against East Rockingham at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
