Twin Falls is 8-2 against Canyon Ridge since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Twin Falls Bruins will face off against the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row dating back to last season, Twin Falls turned things around against Highland on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Rams.

Kentyn Ketterling looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nolan Lehew, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Treyson Walker was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Canyon Ridge hadn't done well against Jerome recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Canyon Ridge blew past Jerome 15-5. That's two games straight that the Riverhawks have won by exactly ten runs.

Canyon Ridge got a massive performance out of Kennan Huettig, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Huettig a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Chritian Waitley, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Canyon Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Canyon Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Twin Falls, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Twin Falls suffered a grim 11-3 defeat to Canyon Ridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Twin Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
