Fort Edward snaps three-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Fort Edward Flying Forts vs. Warrensburg Burgers
The Fort Edward Flying Forts lost against the Warrensburg Burgers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Fort Edward fell to Warrensburg 38-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fort Edward has scored all season.
It was another big night for Steve Schloss, who scored 19 points for Warrensburg. The match was Schloss' third in a row with at least ten points. Caden Allen was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Fort Edward's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3. As for Warrensburg, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Fort Edward will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Warren Central at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Warrensburg won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Crown Point at 10:30 a.m. on December 16th. Crown Point will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
