Basketball Recap: Flagler Palm Coast Piles Up the Points Against Seabreeze

Flagler Palm Coast won the last time they faced Seabreeze and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Seabreeze Sandcrabs 64-18. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Flagler Palm Coast to victory were Ava Works and Alexandra Perez. Works posted 18 points along with eight steals and seven assists, while Perez earned 22 points in addition to six steals and five boards. Works has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of A'Keviyah Lewis, who put up five points along with seven steals and six assists.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Flagler Palm Coast was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seabreeze only posted three assists.

Flagler Palm Coast pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Seabreeze, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Flagler Palm Coast will square off against The Villages Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Seabreeze, they will take on Father Lopez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
