Palm Bay and Cocoa Beach are an even 3-3-1 against one another since November of 2015, but likely not for long. The Pirates will host the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Bay's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Palm Bay managed to keep up with Eau Gallie until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pirates lost 4-1 to the Commodores. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since January 15, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Palm Bay's goal came courtesy of Makkah Lissade, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Cocoa Beach kept a clean sheet against Odyssey Charter School on Friday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 9-0 victory. Cocoa Beach might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cocoa Beach and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Palm Bay, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Palm Bay took their win against Cocoa Beach in their previous meeting back in November of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
