Volleyball Game Preview: Murphysboro Red Devils vs. Herrin Tigers + How To Watch

The Murphysboro Red Devils will square off against the Herrin Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Murphysboro saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Marion by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Murphysboro sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 21-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Herrin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-7.

Murphysboro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Herrin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Murphysboro beat Herrin 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
