Baseball Game Preview: Hampton Bays Baymen vs. Central Islip Musketeers

The Hampton Bays Baymen will head out on the road to face off against the Central Islip Musketeers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hampton Bays has three straight wins, Central Islip has 23 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Friday, Hampton Bays made easy work of Greenport and carried off an 11-2 victory. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Baymen this season.

Meanwhile, Central Islip lost 18-2 to Riverhead on Friday.

Central Islip saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darlin Javier, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Those hits marked the first that Javier has got this season.

Hampton Bays' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Central Islip, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.
