Soccer Game Preview: North Henderson vs. Mountain Heritage

The North Henderson Knights will face off against the Mountain Heritage Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

North Henderson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Enka on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jets. The loss continues a trend for North Henderson in their meetings with Enka: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mountain Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Draughn get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Mountain Heritage were the better team in the second half.

They hit Draughn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sierra Jones, Eily Rule, and Kai'ana Stella.

North Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mountain Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.
