Recap: Sparks Railroaders vs. Smith Valley Bulldogs
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-31, which was the final score in Sparks's tilt against Smith Valley on Saturday. Sparks was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.
Despite the loss, Sparks still got an impressive performance from Adrian Banuelos Puga, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Angel Flores, who scored 6 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Sparks and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Smith Valley, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Sparks is on the road again on Saturday and play against Pershing County at 1:15 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Smith Valley, they will square off against Bishop Union at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
