Soccer Game Preview: Cheboygan vs. Charlevoix

Cheboygan is 0-3 against Charlevoix since September of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Chiefs are taking a road trip to take on the Rayders at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Cheboygan didn't have quite enough to beat Boyne City and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Charlevoix didn't have quite enough to beat Grayling on Monday and fell 2-1. Charlevoix have struggled against Grayling recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Cheboygan's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Charlevoix, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Cheboygan might still be hurting after the 7-2 loss they got from Charlevoix in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Chiefs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
