Softball Recap: Lee County Yellow Jackets vs. Southern Lee Cavaliers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee County). They put the hurt on the Southern Lee Cavaliers with a sharp 18-5 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellow Jackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Lee County let McKayla Mcdougald and Cherish Smith run wild. Mcdougald went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and two RBI, while Smith went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave Smith a new career-high.
