Football Game Recap: North Broward Prep Takes a Loss

North Broward Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the American Heritage Stallions. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Matthew Condon threw for 31 yards on four of 11 attempts. Xavier Cocking was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Anthony Mestre rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.

American Heritage was led to victory by Jaden Desir and Mason Kasten. Desir rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while Kasten threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Desir's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

North Broward Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for American Heritage, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1.

Saint Andrew's defense has only allowed 16 points per game this season, so North Broward Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
