Helena posted their biggest win since December 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-34 victory over the Chilton County Tigers. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Tigers are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Helena's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-11. As for Chilton County, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Helena will take on Oak Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chilton County, they will square off against Wetumpka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wetumpka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.8 points per game this season.
