Soccer Recap: Dale County Sets Scoring Season-High Against Geneva

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dale County). They blew past the Geneva Panthers 11-1 on Tuesday. Considering Dale County have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Geneva from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Ethan Grissom led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Dale County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those seven games. As for Geneva, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dale County beat the Panthers by a score of 11-1 on Thursday.
