Basketball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

If Varsity Opponent wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Forsyth Home Educators, they should've done a better job of containing Baylin Clodfelter. The stars were shining brightly for the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks in a 67-50 victory over Varsity Opponent on Tuesday thanks in part to Clodfelter, who went 8 of 16 en route to 20 points and three steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Caleb Petusky, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Forsyth Home Educators' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Forsyth Home Educators will take on Jefferson Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-39 loss against Sugar Hill Christian Academy on the 17th.
