Volleyball Recap: Mission Bay Find Success

Mission Bay saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Valdez, sneaking past 2-1.

Gianna Harder had an outrageously good game as she had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Annabella Capalbo was another key player, getting nine digs.

Mission Bay has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Valdez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Mission Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica on the 23rd. As for Valdez, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Bullard on the 23rd.
