Baseball Game Preview: East vs. Harding Raiders

East is 0-3 against Harding since April of 2024 but things could change on Saturday. East will face off against Harding at 11:00 a.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

East's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Euclid 11-0. East's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Harding didn't have quite enough to beat McKinley on Friday and fell 16-15.

Harding got a massive performance out of Elias Johnson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Leon Stubbs, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

East might still be hurting after the 17-7 defeat they got from Harding in their previous meeting last Friday. Can East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
