Northern Lebanon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lancaster Mennonite recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Blazers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Northern Lebanon has ten straight victories, Lancaster Mennonite has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Northern Lebanon came out on top against Conestoga Valley on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Vikings took their match against the Buckskins 7-2.

Adrian Gonzalez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run.

In other batting news, Connor Stoltz was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Lucas Kleisath was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Lancaster Mennonite fell victim to Pequea Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Braves.

Lancaster Mennonite saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reuben Gingrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Northern Lebanon pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lancaster Mennonite, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Northern Lebanon's way against Lancaster Mennonite in their previous matchup on April 2nd, as Northern Lebanon made off with a 15-0 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
