Baseball Recap: St. Francis Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

St. Francis put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Rudyard Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Gladiators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tyler Endres looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Thompson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Matthew Kane, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will face off against Norrix at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rudyard, they will square off against Glen Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
