It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mesilla Valley Christian School can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 48-47 to the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes. The SonBlazers' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Several SonBlazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camden Daves, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Daves a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Another player making a difference was Davis Coyle, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 boards.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Mora, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.
