Kenedy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Three Rivers Bulldogs 48-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-20 back in December of 2024.

Three Rivers' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lily Villarreal, who posted 18 points in addition to three steals and three blocks, and Nayelli Rivera, who put up seven points.

Kenedy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Three Rivers, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kenedy Lions duke it out with the Refugio Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Refugio will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Kenedy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Three Rivers, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Yorktown at 5:30 p.m.
