Gage Nein had a dynamite game for Bridgeport, going 5-for-7 to rack up 18 points and six assists. The dominant performance also gave Nein a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (83%). Another player making a difference was Hayes Watts, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Mitchell ended up a good deal behind Kimball on Friday and lost 65-47. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bridgeport pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
