Basketball Recap: Los Altos Comes Up Short

Los Altos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Milpitas Trojans and fell 71-35. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 767th, while the Trojans are ranked 95th).

Los Altos' loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Milpitas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Los Altos and Milpitas will both be playing Wilcox the next time they take the court. Milpitas will host Wilcox at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Los Altos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
