Baseball Recap: Savanna Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Savanna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the South Pasadena Tigers on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rebels have posted since March 20th.

Savanna pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for South Pasadena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 18 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
