Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maynard). They rang in the new year with a 54-41 victory over the Keefe Tech Broncos on Friday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Keefe Tech lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Justice Cesar, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eidan Toppa, who earned ten points.

The win got Maynard back to even at 3-3. As for Keefe Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maynard will host Littleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keefe Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Abby Kelley Foster at 5:30 p.m.
