Basketball Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Takes a Loss

Sherburne-Earlville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Richfield Springs Central Indians. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Sherburne-Earlville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Richfield Springs Central, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Sherburne-Earlville will head out on the road to square off against Adirondack at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Richfield Springs Central, they will be home for the holidays to greet Worcester at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
