Football Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against Indian Hill back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights were outmatched by the Braves and fell 37-7. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 489th, while the Braves are ranked 169th).

Jaylen Lilly threw for 87 yards on six of 15 attempts. Hezikiah Kelley was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Indian Hill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will venture away from home to face off against Ross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Indian Hill, they will head out to square off against New Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
