Fairfield took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 30-23 win over the Goshen RedHawks. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the RedHawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Warren Kaufman had a dynamite game, rushing for 116 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made five total tackles. Another back making a difference was Isaac Yoder, who rushed for 64 yards and one score.

Fairfield's run defense was locked in: Goshen could only muster 3.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Parker Smith for the heroic effort on defense: he. Fairfield's ground attack was stronger, having averaged five.
