Softball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley was the 13-3 winner over Tamaqua when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Blue Raiders on Friday, falling 8-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tri-Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alina Leonard, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Tamaqua, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5-1.

Tri-Valley has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Weatherly on the 7th. As for Tamaqua, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Mahanoy Area on the 5th.
