Basketball Recap: Francis Parker Extends Winning Streak to Four

Francis Parker extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Brieana Brown. The Francis Parker Lancers walked away with a 52-39 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Knights on Wednesday thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for five straight games.

Another player making a difference was Lauren O'Brien, who posted eight points and seven boards. What's more, she also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024.

Francis Parker is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Francis Parker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-46 loss against Moreno Valley on the 10th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-52 win against Great Oak on the 11th.
