Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Riverdale Warriors 71-29. Given the Admirals' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Warriors are ranked 355th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Riverdale, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Franklin won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oak Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Riverdale, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Hickman County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
