Football Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Waggener last Friday, Valley came back down to earth. The Vikings had to suffer through a 66-28 loss at the hands of the North Oldham Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since September 20, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley fell to 7-1. As for North Oldham, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Valley and North Oldham should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Vikings will challenge Doss at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th with a big rank advantage (69 vs. 209). Meanwhile, North Oldham (ranked 75th) will meet Waggener (ranked 200th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
