Basketball Recap: Plymouth Falls Short of Glenn in the Playoffs

Plymouth and Glenn squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Plymouth had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Glenn Falcons by a score of 37-35. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pilgrims/Rockies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-33 back in December of 2024.

Glenn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mia Hurford led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Hurford a new career-high. Dre Weddington was another key player, going 5 for 6 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds.

Plymouth is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9. As for Glenn, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-30 victory against Mishawaka Marian on the 7th.
