Football Recap: Enloe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Enloe had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 6-4 to make it four. They were outmatched by the Rolesville Rams and fell 44-7. The Eagles lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in September of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-27 score last time.

Leo Gorga threw for 26 yards and one TD. On the ground, O'Sean Johnson rushed for 40 yards.

As for Rolesville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.8 points on average over those games.

Amir Brown produced another solid performance rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. He has become a key player for Rolesville: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise. The Rams also got help from Gavin Waddell, who showed off his sure hands for 85 receiving yards.

Enloe has already played their next game, a 27-14 defeat against Panther Creek on the 7th. As for Rolesville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-0 victory against Green Hope on the 7th.
