Basketball Recap: Bert Corona Charter Takes a Loss

Bert Corona Charter lost against Triumph Charter back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bert Corona Charter Knights had to suffer through a 78-28 loss at the hands of the Triumph Charter Jaguars. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bert Corona Charter's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Triumph Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bert Corona Charter will challenge Lake Balboa College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triumph Charter, they will take on Community Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
