Volleyball Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe Takes Down Ranked Cimarron-Memorial

Somerset Sky Pointe faced Cimarron-Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Somerset Sky Pointe never let Cimarron-Memorial on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 25-20.

Dyson Twitchell paced Somerset Sky Pointe's offense, picking up seven kills. Twitchell got some help from Gage Poulsen and his 15 assists. Austen Tippetts controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
