Basketball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Marion County was the 71-52 winner over Cordova when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils on Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Marion County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kade Quinn posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Philip Wilson, who scored five points and 13 rebounds.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cordova, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Marion County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-34 defeat against Winfield on the 2nd. As for Cordova, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-32 loss against Cullman on the 1st.
