Volleyball Recap: Southwest EC Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southwest EC suffered their biggest defeat since August 12th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Imperial Tigers. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Southwest EC took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-23.

Kailani Hinshaw paced Southwest EC's offense, picking up eight kills. Hinshaw got some help from Kaydence Wiewel and her ten assists.

Among those leading the charge was Penny Rosas, who had five digs and two aces.

Southwest EC's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Imperial, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Southwest EC has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brawley on the 2nd. As for Imperial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Holtville on the 1st.
