Baseball Game Preview: Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors vs. Ferndale Eagles

Southfield Arts & Tech lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Harper Woods, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Warriors put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 14-2 victory on Thursday. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Ferndale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Edsel Ford, falling 11-0.

Ferndale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Southfield Arts & Tech suffered a grim 21-1 defeat to Ferndale in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
