Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Joshua High, who posted nine points plus six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Taylor, who posted eight points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Covington can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past Cranfills Gap 60-35. With the Owls ahead 36-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
