Soccer Recap: Destiny Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Destiny Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodland Wolves, falling 8-0. One thing that didn't help the Lions' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Elijah Anku.

Destiny Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for Woodland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Destiny Christian Academy will challenge Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodland, they will square off against Casa Roble at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.
