Volleyball Game Preview: Walthill Blujays vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

Walthill is 0-10 against Omaha Nation since September of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Blujays will take on the Chiefs.

The home team had won the previous eight meetings between Walthill and Winnebago, and Winnebago kept the tradition alive. The Blujays fell 2-0 to the Indians on Monday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Winnebago scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Omaha Nation, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Flandreau Indian 3-0 on Thursday. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-15.

Omaha Nation's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Walthill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

Walthill might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Omaha Nation in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Blujays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
