Baseball Recap: Redbank Valley Takes a Loss

Redbank Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Moniteau Warriors, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in March.

Redbank Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Neiswonger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Redbank Valley's record now sits at 5-8. As for Moniteau, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redbank Valley will venture away from home to take on Brockway at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moniteau, they will head out to square off against Lakeview at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sailors have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
