McComb had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They put the hurt on the Tylertown Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

McComb's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tylertown, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, McComb will head out on the road to face off against Poplarville at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Tylertown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
