Basketball Recap: South Tama County Comes Up Short

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were dealt an 87-20 loss at the hands of the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South Tama County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Tama County will host Williamsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Clear Creek-Amana has already played their next contest (against Grinnell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
